Muddissori Homeschool Enrichment Program

🌿 Welcome to Muddissori Where We Trade Screen Time for Green Time — One Curious Mind at a Time.

Muddissori

Nature-Based Homeschool Enrichment Program

Hosted by Southeastern Academy of Agriculture & Technology

Rooted in Nature. Growing Futures.

Muddissori is a professionally designed homeschool enrichment program created for families who want more than a traditional classroom experience.

Hosted on the working farm campus of Southeastern Academy of Agriculture & Technology, Muddissori gives homeschool students the opportunity to learn through agriculture, STEM, literacy, art, outdoor exploration, and purposeful play.

Every session is intentionally designed and led by educators using the same experiential learning philosophy that guides Southeastern Academy.

Wednesdays 9:00 AM– 12:00 PM | Grades K–5

More Than a Homeschool Co-op

Muddissori is intentionally designed as a homeschool enrichment program, not a traditional homeschool cooperative.

Traditional co-ops often rely on parents to rotate teaching responsibilities or volunteer to lead classes. At Muddissori, parents are not required to teach.

Our sessions are professionally planned and educator-led, giving homeschool families access to structured enrichment experiences while parents remain the primary educators at home.

Our goal is not to replace your homeschool curriculum.

Our purpose is to enrich it.

Families can expect:

  • Professionally developed lessons
  • Educator-led instruction
  • Small learning groups
  • Hands-on agricultural experiences
  • Integrated STEM education
  • Outdoor environmental learning
  • Social-emotional development
  • Character and leadership opportunities
  • Meaningful peer interaction

Muddissori meets on a working farm.

Here, students do not simply learn about agriculture. They experience it.

They do not just read about ecosystems. They explore them.

They do not memorize science concepts.

They investigate them through observation, experimentation, engineering, and play.

Children leave each session with new knowledge, growing confidence, stronger friendships, and—quite often—muddy boots.

Our Educational Philosophy

Muddissori reflects the educational philosophy of Southeastern Academy of Agriculture & Technology.

We believe children learn best when they are:

  • Learning through meaningful experiences
  • Exploring the natural world
  • Solving real-world problems
  • Building confidence through responsibility
  • Collaborating with peers
  • Following their curiosity
  • Caring for living things
  • Applying academic concepts in authentic ways

Every session is designed to strengthen critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, and independence.

For Homeschool Families, By Educators Who Understand Experiential Learning

We recognize that homeschool parents are their children's primary educators.

Muddissori exists to support and enhance the work families are already doing—not to dictate how they homeschool.

Our role is to provide children with unique opportunities that can be difficult to recreate at home: caring for animals, working alongside peers, investigating ecosystems, participating in collaborative STEM challenges, exploring a working farm, and learning from experienced educators.

Families maintain the flexibility and individuality of homeschooling while gaining access to a vibrant educational community.

Why Families Choose Muddissori

Professionally Led
Our program is educator-led rather than dependent on parent teaching rotations.

Hands-On
Children actively participate instead of simply listening to lessons.

Farm-Based
Students learn on a working farm with animals, gardens, natural spaces, and authentic agricultural experiences.

Interdisciplinary
Agriculture, STEM, literacy, art, nature, and character education work together rather than existing as isolated subjects.

Social
Children build friendships and collaborate with other homeschool students.

Flexible
Families receive meaningful enrichment without giving up the freedom of their homeschool program.

Purposeful
Every experience is intentionally designed to build knowledge, confidence, curiosity, and independence.

Come Learn With Us

At Muddissori, we believe childhood should include curious minds, meaningful friendships, muddy boots, living things to care for, problems to solve, and plenty of room to explore.

Our students learn through wonder.

They grow through experience.

And they discover that some of the best classrooms don't have four walls.
